Marcus and Rolin have cut my hair for a decade and I can assure you that this is the BEST barber service anywhere. I can say that because I travel with great frequency and often have longer stays in the major US Cities where I must settle for a standard easily two stars below what Marcus offers. Yes, they are not cheap by comparison but the service and attention to detail more than justify the price. Save yourself the time and go to Barbering By Marcus. Lastly I will add that I am a black man and they handle my hair with a level of care and attention to detail I have not seen anywhere. If you read any accusations on this feed that they are not accessible to people of color, these could not be more untrue. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.
By far the best barber shop I have ever been to. The service and quality is phenomenal!! Marcus and Ryon are amazing as well as the rest of the crew. They all provide world class A level service. This barbershop is the absolute best you will find in NYC!! The staff is extremely professional and knowledgable on helping the customer achieve the hairstyle they are looking for. I walked in for a quick cleanup knowing they were busy during the holidays and to my surprise Marcus was willing to help squeeze me in after closing so that my hair didn't look like a birds nest for the New Year. I cant express how happy I was to find a barber who cared about how their customers looked and I would like everyone to know to stop looking for barbers in NYC because Barbing By Marcus is your place, trust me!!
Phenomenal service and experience. Recently moved to the city recently from out of state. Oliver cut my hair and was incredibly detail oriented and I love my cut. As a guy you often have to choose between someone who knows how to fade and someone who can actually cut hair. Not the case here. Oliver did an incredible job and I'll definitely come back.
Great barbers. Other shops can make it so difficult to get a good scissor cut and end up just buzzing the sides anyway. But here you never feel like they rush you out of the chair. I promise you’ve never had a more detail-obsessed haircut. Regular of Oliver now.
I've had my hair cut by Rolin and Ryan both, and they're fantastic. The ambiance and level of service is great. I find myself very welcomed here but it never takes too long and it feels like an efficient operation. I can also trust their opinions on cuts and feel comfortable letting them do their thing. Can't imagine myself going anywhere else.
